70s Inspired Summer Trends

After spotting this list of top trends for this summer, we were inspired to collaborate and make the WRUW Girl version of our must have summer style trends. Although it may be 2015, the 70s are coming back hotter than ever and this summer is your chance to bring out your mod-hippie side.

The Fringe Skirt — First of all, who doesn’t love anything and everything about Olivia Palermo? This skirt, which is by the way, only $56 from ASOS, is perfect for a Friday night adventure or a Saturday rooftop soirée. Pair it with a cute crop top or something lacey and you’re guaranteed to turn heads all night.

Ripped Jeans — Now, we know how good all the Kardashians look in a pair of jeans, but these copycat jeans from Necessary Clothing will make you look just as fabulous! Wear them casual throughout the week with a solid color tee or slip on a pair of heels for an edgier look.

Bell-Bottom Jeans — These super flared white jeans are a chic way to rock this throwback and white is perfect for the summer. We found this amazing pair at Free People for only $78! Be sure to keep up because we will definitely be strutting down the street in a pair of these this season.

Boho Hats — Hats have been a major trend this year and this H&M wool hat is a must have for the summer! Whether you’re going to the beach, brunch, or treating yourself to a weekend getaway, this hat will work for any occasion.

Boho Bikini — We are obsessing over this summer’s hottest bathing suits. This Victoria’s Secret suit has a bold pattern that will be sure to turn heads on the beach or by the pool. Will you be daring enough to rock this beachy Boho look?

Beige Nails — A big trend we are currently obsessing over is neutral nails. Celebrities have also recently been seen flaunting their own shiny nude nails while walking down the street or strutting their stuff on the red carpet. If you’ve been itching to try neutral nails, we’d suggest Essie’s “Buy Me A Cameo” color.
