Finding your cheating fiance’s texts as you are about to walk down the aisle is just not necessary. People – if you aren’t ready to commit and be faithful to one person – it’s not that hard – don’t be in a relationship and DON’T get married. A bride found out the NIGHT BEFORE her wedding that her fiance was cheating, and what she did next deserves a standing ovation and a reception to celebrate (while of course nursing her heartache – we’re not that insensitive, guys).
A woman named Casey was going to have the best night of her life. It was the evening before her wedding. But while she was drinking wine (thank god) with her friends, she received a text message from an unknown number.
Instead of a good luck or congrats, it said: ‘I wouldn’t marry him. Will you?’
The convo showed her cheating fiance’s texts with another woman, who she said was the “complete opposite” of her. They went back months, up until only a few days before. Yikes. Obvs it killed Casey, but Casey was not going to stop the wedding. It was paid for, all her friends and family were there – she had a better idea.
“My brain simply could not compute WTF was going on. There was no questioning the legitimacy of these messages. I just knew.”
She could tell her fiance knew from her face something was not right. When she got to the part of her wedding vows, she explained, there will be “no wedding today”.
The “groom” tried to get her to stop talking, but instead, Casey showed who he really was. She showed the world (okay, the wedding party) her cheating fiance’s texts
“It seems Alex is not who I thought he was,” she told everyone. Next she read EVERY text message he sent this woman.
This weekend. You and I. It is on, hot stuff. Bring your A game.
Your body is f***ing incredible. And s** do you know how to use it. I wish my GF had half the skills you do.
I miss you so much…I’ve never had this kind of connection before.
Alex ran off like a loser he was, but Casey did what she had to do – threw a hell of a break up party at the “reception.” She called it a party of honesty and finding true love instead.
“It was certainly not the wedding day I had planned but to our credit, it was one hell of a party,” she said.
You. Go. Girl.
Men AND ladies – don’t be stupid – or you might have to live with a national story just like Casey’s.
