Inside Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty Launch Party–Here’s What it Looks Like

Rihanna’s highly anticipated makeup line is finally here and the beauty world is going nuts.

There’s been speculation surrounding Rihanna’s makeup line for 2 years, and we were all waiting on the edge of our seats because, well, Rihanna.

Rihanna can do no wrong–from the music, to the fashion, and beauty, she is an all around trendsetter. Of  course, this has  makeup and fashion girls alike are lining up to give her all their money! The official campaign that was released last friday, featured  a bad-ass glamour posse strutting the streets of NYC with shimmering faces and glossy lips was the icing on the cake for us.

Her official launch party was held at Sephora in Brooklyn on Thursday, kicking off the first day of New York Fashion Week. Judging by the coverage and product reactions on social media, it’s safe to say it was lit!

Some of fashion’s it-models of the moment like Duckie Thot, Halima Aden and Camilla Casto were in attendance, getting makeup demos done by none of her than the Bad Gal herself.


Fenty Beauty features 91 products and total. True to the brand’s ‘Beauty for All” slogan, Rihanna managed to create 40 shades of foundation, making it the most inclusive makeup line ever. Hopefully, this will inspire other makeup brands to follow suit.

”I wanted a color that would work well on all skin tones,” Rihanna says to fans in reference to her Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer. ”It might have been a challenge, but I didn’t care. I was up for it.”

Other products include  brushes, blotting papers, primer, contour sticks, mattifying powder, a sponge, and gorgeous, glittery highlights and glosses to help you shine bright like a diamond. The packaging is simplistic and equally swoon worthy; it comes in a millennial pink shade!
