Kanye West Made Things SUPER Awkward At NYFW

It wouldn’t be a Kanye West runway if there wasn’t a little bit of drama.

On February 15, Kanye revealed Yeezy Season 5, featuring the singer/designer’s collab with Adidas. However, there were some rules before entering the room. Security banned all credentialed press from attending the show, and that’s not all. Right before the event began, there were signs stating no photos, videos or social media posts allowed … HA, let’s try to see that happen!

But let’s get to the important stuff -the clothes!

The models (thankfully, none were fainting this time around) began on a digital video, making a full 360 degree rotation to The-Dream’s cover of “Bed,” by J. Holiday. Soon after, the models appeared on the catwalk, revealing more of the clothing.

The ensembles were leisure-wear, including large boots, denim jackets, jeans, oversized fleece and sweaters that read “Calabasas. Other tops read “Lost Hills,” which is rumored to be the name of a Kanye x Drake album (please be true!).

The oversized clothes came in multiple colors including purple and maroon. The stunning Halima Aden hit the runway in a hijab and glamorous fur, while Kim Kardashian and Anna Wintour watched from front row.

A new shoe was revealed, which has a thicker style and sole compared to West’s last collection – and we’re sure they’ll be just as pricey and popular as the last!

If kicking out the press wasn’t awkward enough, the models left the runway … and everyone began wondering what was next … which was  … nothing! Kanye did not make an appearance at the end of his how – maybe it was because people broke social media rules? Attendees knew it was officially over once Kim got up and left, leading the pack.

Overall, Yeezy’s show was calm compared to previous seasons – which leads us to think – what is he brewing up?
