Pretty In Pink: Pink Is The Next “It” Color

While neutrals have taken over the last few years, a new bright and bold color is about to be the next big thing – bubbly pink. The hue was spotted on loads of spring 2017 runways including Celine, Loewe, Gucci and Valentino, and it’s popping up all over retail stores gearing up for the next season.

When we say pink, we don’t mean just a little bit. Celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, and Hailey Baldwin have all been caught by the paparazzi wearing the color from head to toe.

The trend is the perfect way to brighten and lighten up our low-key and black dominant wardrobe, and is a sure way to positively draw attention. But how do we wear it without looking like a bottle of Pepto? Mix and match different hues of the pink, or pick one piece to be your focal point.

Think pink is to girly-girl for you? Think again! This season’s pink is a bossy babe, and it’s anything but delicate. It’s adventurous, deviant and flirty. Pair it with darker colors like Gigi did above to show off a more tom-boy or masculine style of the shade.

From pale and light to bold and neon, pink clothes and accessories are coming in all different shades – which means anyone can pull it off . If you have a warm skin tone, a coral-like color is your best choice, while cooler skin tones should go with a rose.

We rounded up some of our fav rose colored items, so you too, can be pretty in pink.
