Saying I Do Next Summer? Here’s What You Need To Do To Keep Your Skin, Hair & Nails Glowing Until Then!

The seasons aren’t the only thing that have to change – our beauty regimens have to change with, too. The air gets dryer, our hair and nails more brittle and we sometimes need a little more TLC. We made an easy lazy-girl approved check list that are all must-do’s when it comes to taking care of yourself. Grab that pumpkin spice latte, light your Bath & Body Works candle, and check out these easy steps below.

1. Sugar Over Salt

Sea salt sprays have been all the rage lately and we definitely love them too, but the salt can be extremely damaging and drying to your lovely locks, not to mention the cold front really takes a toll, too. Try switching to a sugar spray. This formula will do the exact same thing your sea salt spray did, without dryingt out your hair (trust us, you’ll look totes Pinterest-worthy)

2. Alcohol Free Toner

First and foremost, we aren’t completely hating on alcohol-based toners because for some people they work really well, but for some people, using one can be too drying during the season. Try switching to something that’s all natural, a mineral water like Garnier Fructise’s, or your fav product that doesn’t contain alcohol – trust us, after doing this your skin will look glowing, causing them not ever to swipe left.

3. Keep Up With SPF

Sun’s out guns out. But, when it comes to sunscreen, you still need it even when the sun isn’t seen! Sun hiding behind the clouds can be just as damaging as the rays you get when laying out at the beach. Wrinkles – ew – trust us on this.

4. Don’t Forget Your Neck And Hands

If you’re an avid moisturizer, you’re already ahead of the game. But, for all of you out there, don’t forget about your neck and hands, especially during the colder months. Your neck and hands are the first things to age on your body and we want to prolong that for as long as possible.

5. Aloe Is Your Friend

Most of us associate Aloe Vera with a painful sunburn, but aloe is great for acne and scarring. Try to find a stabilized aloe, which is the closest thing you can get to pulling it right out of the plant, because this will contain the maximum amount of minerals to help with your skin.
